The last Cold War - origin of our partner network
Key elements of our American partner network have been active for decades; providing a breadth and depth of relationships and experience that would otherwise be very difficult to obtain. In that sense, below image also marks a period during which members of our U.S. partner network advanced Western interests in the latter stages of the Cold War. During that time, among other efforts, they assisted Western businesses in protecting their assets and operations against communist interference across multiple continents. That same spirit, expertise, and mission‑driven reliability are once again becoming critical in today’s increasingly uncertain and adversarial environment.

HFASA stands for Hinterland & Frontier Affairs / Special Advisors. The name reflects our analytical philosophy, holistic approach, and focus on key strategic drivers.
Simply put, we consider every client we accept as operating on a strategic "chessboard" (systems in the sense of systems theory) that is interconnected with many other chessboards. Systems in the sense of geopolitical, political, market, governmental/regulatory, social, media, cultural, and legal spheres.
